Job summary

AAON in Memphis, TN is seeking a Materials Control Manager to oversee receipt, storage, and usage of materials to sustain uninterrupted production flow. You will ensure inventory levels meet production needs at the assigned location, with a focus on efficient warehouse operations and process improvement.

The role requires expertise in materials management, 5 years of related experience (HVAC preferred), and strong leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; HVAC industry experience is valued.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in materials management or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• 8 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate receipt, inspection, storage, and usage of materials.
• Monitor and control inventory levels and coordinate with Warehouse to meet production needs.
• Input on evaluating and improving materials management processes and policies.
• Lead, train, and coach Supervisors, Materials Control at assigned location.
• Serve as a model and escalation point for complex problems and employee situations.
• Ensure safe and efficient warehouse operations at all locations.
