Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Material Control Manager to direct material planning, inventory management, and warehouse operations to support manufacturing. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Engineering to ensure material availability aligns with schedules and customer needs.

You will lead a team responsible for inventory accuracy, supplier performance, and continuous improvement across the material flow. Strong leadership, ERP/MRP, and cost-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, inventory control, operations management, or related field.
• 5–8 years in materials/supply chain management with 3+ years in leadership.
• Strong ERP/MRP, inventory control, and warehouse systems knowledge.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and material planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead material planning team to ensure material availability for production.
• Develop and execute material planning strategies to support production schedules.
• Coordinate procurement with Purchasing to timely acquire materials.
• Develop supplier relationships to improve delivery and cost.
• Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and shipping activities.
• Lead continuous improvement in material flow and inventory management.
• Develop and manage budgets and staffing within the department.
