You will coordinate material movement, receiving, replenishment, and inventory reporting to support on-time delivery and product quality. The role requires attention to detail, experience with measurement tools, reading blueprints, and using ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

• One to two years of related material control, inventory, receiving, inspection, shipping experience.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and gauge pins.
• Ability to read blueprint drawings and apply inspection requirements.
• Ability to use a computer-based MRP or ERP system for inventory management and transaction records.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production and outside-service orders have correct materials when needed using FIFO and BOM requirements.
• Receive, locate, transfer, and issue items per established procedures.
• Verify incoming components against blueprint drawings and inspection requirements.
• Provide reliable material traceability with complete, accurate records.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment to avoid shortages.
• Coordinate outside processing and ensure required completion dates for shipments.
• Maintain cycle counts, physical counts, and monthly inventory reporting; investigate discrepancies.
• Resolve labeling and paperwork inconsistencies and quarantine nonconforming material as needed.
• Support shipping by transferring jobs and assisting packing.
• Train colleagues and promote consistent Material Control practices.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and continuous process improvements.
