Job summary

Trove Brands is seeking a Materials and Color Developer to own seasonal material and color execution for soft goods, including bags, accessories, and apparel. You will translate seasonal direction into production-ready standards through materials development, color management, CAD creation, and library ownership, collaborating with Product, Design, and overseas mills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3+ years in raw material or color development within fashion/soft goods.
• Strong knowledge of textile construction and material categories.
• Experience with overseas mills and factories.
• Excellent organization and multi-track project management.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop woven, knit, coated, and technical materials with mill outreach.
• Own lab dip and color approval from submission to bulk production.
• Create seasonal CADs, colorways, trend boards, and templates in Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Manage seasonal color updates for carryover SKUs and standards continuity.
• Maintain material/color libraries including swatches and finishes.
• Coordinate daily with overseas vendors and monitor bulk submissions.
• Travel internationally to evaluate materials and strengthen supplier relations.
