Job summary

Cates Control Systems, Inc. is seeking a Materials & Shipping Clerk to maintain a clean, organized warehouse and ensure accurate, damage-free shipments. You will ship/receive materials, operate a forklift and pallet jack, and manage ERP transactions while supporting production.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and about 1 year of related experience, with strong organization and communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year prior experience preferred in materials or inventory.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory transactions.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive all materials for the facility.
• Load and unload freight using pallet jack or forklift.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and inventory.
• Issue parts from inventory to jobs and assemble kits.
• Return unused parts and record transactions in ERP.
• Contribute to cycle counts and resolve discrepancies.
• Scan packing slips and documentation to the server.
• Prepare and package control panels for shipment.
