Robinson Pharma is seeking a Buyer to join our Santa Ana office. The Buyer will procure raw materials and components, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely delivery to support production schedules.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of material/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Effective oral and written communication to support interdepartmental operations.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office usage; exposure to ERP systems.
• Strong planning and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Safety-minded with adherence to SOPs and GMPs.
• Teamwork and respect for diversity across teams.
• Familiarity with procurement policies and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Procures raw materials/components to meet production dates and target price/quality.
• Maintains supplier communication, benchmarks prices, and develops new sources.
• Manages inventory levels based on demand and lead times.
• Places purchase orders daily and coordinates with multiple departments.
• Negotiates contracts, pricing, payment terms, and cost savings.
• Reviews requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicates purchasing procedures to staff and vendors.
• Establishes blanket agreements for items with special requirements.
• Keeps pricing and ordering records up to date and accurate.
• Generates reports and analyzes data to improve efficiency.
