This position offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally within a vibrant supply chain environment, supporting impactful projects and fostering supplier relationships.
As a Materials Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and procurement operations. Under supervision,you'llnegotiate pricing, manage non-strategic suppliers, and oversee the entire purchasing process to ensure materials and services are delivered on time and within budget. Your responsibilities include issuing RFQs, evaluating bids,expeditingorders, and managing purchase orders from initiation through delivery, payment, and recordkeeping.You'llcollaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams toidentifypotential suppliers, support contract negotiations, andmaintainoptimalinventory levels. Leveraging SAP and Ariba,you'llanalyze data, track inventory, and generate insightful reports to improve procurement efficiency.
This role also involves supporting process improvements, managing small projects, and mentoring junior team members, allowing you to develop your leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $27.90 to $37.74 per hour
