Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Materials Attendant Specialist in South Bend, IN to join its IS VEH VGNA division. The role involves packing, visually inspecting, and shipping product to customers, acting as the last line of defense for quality, and supporting inventory control.

Responsibilities include operating cleaners, moving material with forklifts, loading/unloading trucks, weighing parts, and performing preventive maintenance. A high school diploma or GED is required, and relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate traditional, precision and BCT cleaners.
• Move material using forklifts.
• Schedule, load and unload trucks.
• Sample weigh parts as required.
• Clean and organize area as required.
• Determine acceptable quality by visual inspection and precision equipment.
• Operate shot peen equipment and package parts for shipment.
• Perform all necessary PMs.
• Maintain and control inventory; perform computer inventory transactions.
