Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Materials Associate, Warehouse for a 06+ months contract in Santa Ana, CA (onsite). The role focuses on shipping, receiving, inventory control, and ensuring accurate material movement across sites.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a warehouse setting, forklift experience, a valid driver’s license, and is eligible for a U.S. clearance. Health insurance, 401(k), and paid sick leave are included.

Responsibilities

• Process shipping and receiving at Santa Ana and/or Costa Mesa locations.
• Prepare stock for shipment, including pulling, packing, labeling, and loading.
• Ensure material movement is accurately transacted across sites.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper recording.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move items.
• Escort inventory between sites as needed.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Materials Associate, Warehouse. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Santa Ana, CA(Onsite).

Pay Range: $25/hr - $30/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Process shipping and receiving at the Santa Ana and/or Costa Mesa locations as needed
• Prepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, labeling, loading, and securing product
• Key person to ensure material movement across sites is accurately transacted for each move
• Ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution
• Complete cycle counts and conduct all warehouse activities with inventory accuracy as a top priority
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signal machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and loading docks
• Courier inventory as needed between sites in Santa Ana & Costa Mesa
• Expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Warehouse, inventory, shipping, receiving
• 2+ years as a warehouse associate or equivalent role
• Ability to be onsite, local to Santa Ana, CA or Costa Mesa, CA
• Must be able to work 1st or 2nd shift and overtime as needed
• Valid driver’s license
• 1+ years forklift experience and license
• Experience working in the defense/aerospace industry
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and/or other warehouse management and inventory control tooling.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent office management tooling
• Familiarity with Inventory Management through lot/serial/batch tracking
• Experience packaging and handling hazardous shipments
• Able to adapt in fast-paced environments
• Ability to flex as work shifts can be subject to change depending on the business need
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. clearance
• Active secret or top secret clearance within the last 5 years
