Qualifications

• High school degree with relevant experience or associate's degree.

• Knowledge of recalls, concessions, non-conforming products, and DMR/DHR requirements.
• Familiarity with Quality Manual and Quality Policy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and process materials according to SOP.
• Move materials using hand trucks or forklifts.
• Receive/deliver release orders and verify inventory.
• Process products against POs and WOs in the system.
• Manage important documents for recording and distribution.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
• Comply with EHS and quality system requirements.
• Read and follow work instructions and bill of materials.
• Perform other assigned tasks or projects.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented Materials Control Coordinator. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Noblesville, IN (Onsite).

Pay Range: $18 - $19/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Work shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00-4:30 (possibly 5:30 to 4:00).
• Inspect and process materials according to the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).
• Physically move materials from one location to another using hand trucks or forklifts.
• Physically and systematically receive/deliver individual release orders to internal and external services, quantify and verify inventory.
• Process products against purchase orders and work orders using an electronic management system.
• Manage/control important documents necessary for the recording, allocation, and distribution of a variety of regulated products.
• Conduct cycle audits and physical inventory according to the schedule.
• Participate in the reconciliation of inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to the Team Leader.
• Comply with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and policies and quality system requirements.
• Read and follow work instructions and bill of materials.
• Perform other assigned tasks and/or special projects.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; High school degree and relevant experience or associate's degree
• Proficiency in the local language (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Can follow work instructions and good with technology and computers. Needs to be able to move parts to location.
• Know and understand product recalls, concessions, non-conforming products, material identification and segregation, document configuration control, good documentation practices, requirements related to approved suppliers/Sourcing department, and DMR/DHR requirements associated with this type of position/function.
• Know and comply with the client Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations for this type of position/function.
• Complete all scheduled Quality and Compliance training on time.
• Identify and report any quality or compliance issues and take immediate appropriate corrective actions.
• High school degree and relevant experience or Associates degree
• Proficiency in the local language (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Excellent knowledge of basic mathematics.
• Ability to communicate and work with others.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to use automatic lifting devices.
