Job summary

Molex is seeking a Materials and Logistics Coordinator to support Prototype/POC operations in Lisle, IL. You will coordinate purchasing, inbound/outbound logistics, material receiving, inventory control, and project kitting, ensuring timely, accurate system transactions and documentation.

Responsibilities include tracking international shipments, managing customs data, handling PO closeout, and coordinating with Accounts Payable.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a stockroom, warehouse, materials, or inventory environment.
  • Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Track inbound shipments from international vendors, address customs clearance issues, and coordinate with the shipping dock to support timely material receipt.
  • Partner with the Molex Customs Compliance team to build and maintain customs data for parts used in the POC lab.
  • Coordinate international shipments, invoicing, crating, packing, and required documentation for POC projects.
  • Purchase lab supplies, equipment, packaging, and select off-the-shelf project materials through approved purchasing channels, including Coupa punchout catalogs.
  • Monitor purchase orders from vendor shipment through goods receipt, resolve price, quantity, or receipt discrepancies, and partner with Accounts Payable as needed to complete PO closeout.
  • Receive incoming materials and verify shipments against purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate stockroom organization, inventory records, cycle counts, adjustments, labeling, and lot creation.
  • Kit materials for projects, return unused materials to stock, and complete all required system transactions.

In this role, you will coordinate purchasing, inbound and outbound logistics, material receiving, inventory control, and project kitting. You will help ensure materials are purchased, received, tracked, organized, and delivered efficiently while maintaining accurate system transactions and documentation.

What You Will Do

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Previous experience working in a stockroom, warehouse, materials, or inventory environment.

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system; SAP experience is a plus.

For this role, we anticipate paying $23- $27 per hour.
