Job summary

RTX is seeking a Materials Analyst to support the Pratt & Whitney F119 Heavy Maintenance Center, managing gas turbine engine parts through repair and assembly processes. You will track inventory, reconcile parts in SAP, expedite materials, and coordinate with internal teams to meet production schedules.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of logistics or supply chain experience in aerospace. Onsite work with shift rotation and potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• 2 years of relevant Logistics, Business or Supply Chain Management experience with a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree.
• Experience in material scheduling, inventory management, or supply chain in an aerospace MRO environment.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management & Parts Tracking: Manage and track parts inventory across multiple production modules, ensuring timely identification of part shortages to meet production schedules.
• Use SAP to reconcile parts, perform swaps, and coordinate part routing to external vendors or internal repair teams.
• Expediting Materials & Reconciliation: Expedite materials for repair ensuring timely movement through the supply chain.
• Assist with coordination of parts swaps and routing for critical repair processes.
• Support engine assembly cells by prioritizing part movements to alleviate work stoppages.
• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with the Fleet and Program Managers to ensure seamless coordination of materials and parts.
• Engage in continuous improvement events through active participation in training, committees, and events.
• Data Management & Reporting: Create and maintain reporting documents providing regular updates on parts supportability, inventory status, and production timelines.
