Responsibilities include verifying supplier quotes, handling POs, ensuring BOM and material data accuracy, and supporting cross-functional teams across Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain. ERP experience and advanced Excel are required.

We are currently looking for a precise Material Analyst to become part of a premier manufacturing facility for a long-term engagement. This position provides a compensation range of $30 to $34 per hour, based on your background, and operates on a consistent Monday through Friday shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Core Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy of quotes provided by suppliers.
• Assist in the processing and management of purchase orders.
• Ensure the integrity of material master data records.
• Evaluate Bill of Materials (BOM) costs to help optimize overall project spending.
• Facilitate procurement operations to ensure seamless supply chain flow.
• Engage with external vendors to maintain strong professional relationships.
• Track key performance indicators to help the team meet operational goals.
• Partner with internal departments such as Engineering, Finance, Program Management, and Supply Chain to drive cross-functional success.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, IF statements, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, SUMPRODUCT, nested formulas, and Power Query.
• Background in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inventory control, material analysis, or industrial manufacturing settings.
• Strong analytical mindset to help identify and resolve complex data discrepancies.
• High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all reporting.
