Job summary

Yanfeng Global Automotive Interiors is seeking a Materials Analyst (Architecture) to manage material flow, production scheduling, and supplier relations in support of our manufacturing operations.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in materials or logistics and a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, finance or a related field; willingness to travel to customer sites and automotive plants.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years minimum experience.
• Automotive industry experience is preferred, willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and acquirement of materials.
• Optimize freight and inventories.
• Implement production scheduling, logistics and inventory control processes which ensure availability of materials for uninterrupted production.
• Select, motivate, train, and develop a competent materials department staff.
• Anticipate and resolve problems with corrective actions.
• Assist with warehouse layout and execution.
• Daily walks verifying material is stored in the proper location.
• Manage inbound/outbound transportation routes to optimize shipments and distribution.

Materials Analyst (Architecture)

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and acquirement of materials.
• Optimize freight and inventories.
• Implement, production scheduling, logistics and inventory control processes which ensure the availability of materials for an uninterrupted flow of production in accordance with delivery schedules, while maintaining minimum inventories.
• Select, motivate, train, and ensure development of a competent department and materials handling staff.
• Anticipate and resolve problems with short-term and permanent corrective action.
• Assist with warehouse layout and execution.
• Daily walks verifying material is stored in the proper location.
• Assist with the management of the most economical inbound / outbound transportation routes, looking for opportunities to combine shipments, milk runs, and warehouse consolidation and distribution

Required Education and Qualifications

• Bachelor's Level Degree
  • Area of Study:Supply Chain,BusinessAdmin, Finance or similar.

• Less Than 1Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
