Daifuku Airport America Corporation is hiring a Materials Associate in Boyne City, MI. This role supports shipping/receiving, material prep, and recordkeeping within a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities include staging materials, loading/unloading trucks, maintaining accurate records, and performing SAP confirmations. Excellent communication and computer skills are required for timely, accurate duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1 year equivalent experience.
• Must possess good verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Must be fluent with a computer, proficient in typing and 10 key functions.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Ability to read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Gathers stages and prepares material for shipment.
• Loads and unloads trucks with assistance as needed.
• Keeps records required for shipping material; electronic files and hard copy.
• Checks loads and arranges pickups.
• Maintains records and tags all equipment before shipment.
• Performs all computer transactions related to shipping and receiving.
• Maintains and electronically files all receiving records.
• Receives shipments; marks and stores in proper locations.
• Performs kitting allocation of work orders as required by the shop.
• Assists with inventory cycle count and record keeping; updates stores location and labeling.
• Moves material from work center to work center; performs confirmations in SAP.
• Understands processes and documentation requirements.
• Performs duties in a timely manner.
• Participates in the company quality process.

SALARY: Starting at $21.80/hr.
