Job summary

Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) is seeking a dedicated plant operator to support the material transfer process from tanker to the molding silo. You will work closely with supervision and drivers to move materials efficiently and safely, following precise bin transfer steps and completing the necessary paperwork.

Key duties include connecting lines, operating pumps, and ensuring four bins are emptied before cleaning and closing out the transfer cycle.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have good attitude and willingness to learn.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather.
• Self-motivated – can complete work/tasks with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Transfer material from tanker to molding silo under supervision.
• Coordinate with drivers and supervision for material movements.
• Connect transfer lines to tanker and pump; verify silos alignments.
• Start transfer pump and adjust valves as needed; manage bin sequencing.
• Open/close valves for each bin; ensure all four bins are emptied.
• Clean tanker and silos after transfers; complete associated paperwork.
• Inspect work area for spills or residue and report as required.
