Job summary

Majestic Steel USA in Bedford, OH is seeking a motivated team member to review orders, label and package materials, and work with the production crew to ensure quality standards are met. You will safely operate micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment, while contributing to a safe, efficient workflow.

Minimal manufacturing/warehouse experience is required; applicants should be detail oriented, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and comfortable in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Review order instructions, label and package materials to meet specs.
• Operate tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns and banding equipment.
• Identify and report damage or quality issues; follow safety guidelines and PPE.
• Collaborate with production crew to meet goals and perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

• Pay: Starting rate is $17.00/ hour; could be eligible for more based on experience; 10% shift differential
• Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:45 pm - 10:45 pm, with overtime as required

What You Will Do:

• Package Materials: You will review order instructions, label and package materials to meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Operate Equipment Safely: Utilize tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape guns, and banding equipment.
• Maintain Quality and Safety: Identify and report any damage or quality issues and advocate for security by adhering to guidelines and wearing personal protective equipment.
• Support Team Efforts: Work collaboratively with production crew to meet assigned goals and complete additional job-related responsibilities as assigned

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience: Minimal manufacturing and/or warehouse experience is required
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to operate assigned equipment safely, and effective communication skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds, mount & dismount equipment, capable of walking, climbing and bending for periods of time, and be comfortable working in hot and cold atmospheres depending on weather conditions
