Baxter International Inc. is hiring a Material Support Person to ensure efficient movement of materials, products, and equipment across our operations. You will receive, store, transport and distribute inventory while maintaining accuracy, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating vehicles, loading/unloading, documentation, and timely delivery to support manufacturing needs. You will join a collaborative warehouse team that works with production, transportation, vendors

Qualifications

• Must have current, valid driver’s license and CDL.
• Tow motor physical test required or completed.
• High School Diploma or GED obtained.

Responsibilities

• Receive products and parts into the warehouse.
• Pull products and parts from locations and move to appropriate areas.
• Drive tractor/trailer, van, straight truck, lift truck or other vehicles to collect and deliver parts, products, and equipment between plants and vendors.
• Load and unload trucks and secure loads to prevent shifting or damage.
• Complete loading documents and follow instructions.
• Count, weigh, sort, locate, stock and deliver items to required areas.
• Identify parts and products by correct location and ID.

As a Material Support Person, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient movement of materials, products, and equipment throughout our operations. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, transporting, and distributing inventory while maintaining accuracy, safety, and quality standards. This position requires operating a variety of vehicles and material handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, completing required documentation, and ensuring products and parts are delivered to the right place at the right time to support business and manufacturing needs.

Your Team

You will be part of a collaborative warehouse and logistics team dedicated to maintaining the smooth flow of materials across the supply chain. Working closely with production employees, warehouse personnel, transportation teams, vendors, and plant operations, you will help ensure the timely movement of products, parts, supplies, and equipment. Together, the team is committed to safety, operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and delivering outstanding support to internal and external customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform all required duties in connection with receiving products and parts into warehouse
• Pull products and parts from location and move them to appropriate areas
• Drive tractor/trailer, van, straight truck, lift truck or other vehicles to pick-up and deliver parts, product, scrap, supplies, dies, equipment etc. between company plants, vendors and other designated destinations.
• Load, unload trucks arranging load for proper space and weight distribution, block and secure load as the need arises to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Complete loading documents, and follow verbal instructions.
• Perform various material handling duties including, but not limited to: counting, weighing, sorting, locating, stocking and delivering parts, materials, fabricated in-process stock, supplies, tools or equipment to required areas.
• Determine location and accurate identification of parts and products.

What You’ll Bring

• Must have current, valid driver’s license, CDL license and pass tow motor physical
• High School Diploma or (GED) General Education Degree

The pay rate is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
