Job summary

ManpowerGroup is partnering with a leading logistics and warehousing organization to hire a Material Handler Forklift in Miami Lakes, FL. The role supports inventory management and order fulfillment with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will operate order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists, lift up to 50 lbs, and use handheld scanners. Training will be provided, with potential for temp-to-perm.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of consecutive work experience in a warehouse role.
• Ability to operate equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklift.
• Demonstrated safety mindset with PPE usage and safety procedures.
• Reliable attendance and time management; able to work overtime.
• Willingness to be trained on equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists.
• Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; push, pull, bend, squat and move objects.
• Operate handheld scanners to access and update information for receiving, counting, and order processing.
• Report defects and identify needs for repairs to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Material Handler Forklift to join their team. As a Material Handler Forklift you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Miami Lakes, FL

Pay Range: $16.00

Shift:

2nd, Monday - Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00 pm;

3rd, Sunday - Thursday, 10:30pm to 7:00am

What's the Job?

• Willingness to be trained on and operate equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists.

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes including receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.

• Lift up to 50lbs, push, pull, bend, squat and moving objects

• Operate handheld scanners to access and update information for receiving, counting, and order processing.

• Report defects and identify needs for repairs to ensure smooth operations.

• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

What's Needed?

• Ability to operate equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklift s is preferred.

• At least 1 year of consecutive work experience in Warehouse role

• Demonstrated safety mindset with consistent use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.

• Reliable attendance record with effective time management skills.
