Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a dedicated Sorter to hand sort pallets and materials in a busy distribution facility in Wisconsin. You will help maintain safety, cleanliness, and efficiency while staying active throughout shifts.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with a Mon-Thu 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM schedule. This role involves manual pallet handling, loading/unloading, and basic production paperwork, with opportunities for advancement and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the facility.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system.
• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Communicate directly with plant management regularly.

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr

Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do

• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights

• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand

• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, around the facility

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
