Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS Georgia Plant is seeking an entry-level supply chain professional to coordinate supplier orders, manage inventory, and ensure timely material flow in an on-site role in West Point, GA.

You will work with CKD/LP suppliers, monitor MRP, maintain SAP master data, and support cost-saving transportation planning while adhering to SQDCM and company values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Equivalent experience/education: 3+ years in supply chain or materials management in manufacturing.
• Intermediate communication skills and mathematical ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and quarterly inventories.
• Provide requirements and inventory assessments to suppliers to ensure efficient module operations.
• Communicate with CKD and LP suppliers to ensure delivery, payment and ASN confirmation.
• Coordinate with production control on trial builds and issue spot PO’s for timely delivery.
• Analyze part requirements and manage stock levels and safety stock.
• Maintain SAP Material Master Data and related purchasing activities.
• Record production data and compile status reports.
• Monitor daily and monthly inventory levels and Engineering Change Order schedules.
• Monitor MRP process and daily requirement changes.
• Plan transportation costs to save on logistics.
• Monitor orders via EDI for build demand and material tracking.
• Report shortages and coordinate with management.
• Collaborate with engineering changes to minimize obsolescence.

Acts as a liaison between suppliers and MOBIS Georgia to ensure all materials are correctly ordered and delivered promptly in accordance to production schedules. Ensures all procedures of MOBIS Georgia are followed.

This position is not a remote position. This position is onsite in West Point, GA.

Responsibilities

Expectations- Accomplish day-to-day tactical objectives in support of company and department goals. • Conduct and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and quarterly inventories.
• Provide requirements and inventory assessments to Suppliers to ensure efficient operations of all applicable module processes.
• Communicate with CKD and LP suppliers to ensure delivery, payment and ASN confirmation.
• Work with production Control on all trial builds and issue spot PO’s to support the programs ensuring a timely delivery and correct EO level parts.
• Analyze and comprehend all part requirements in accordance with the specifications, frequency of use, outside variables and packaging in order to maintain a minimum stock level in a timely manner and manage safety stock levels.
• Maintain spot PO’S, scheduling agreements, source lists, Cogi, material master, ERS and other SAP functions for inventory control and planning accuracy.
• Record production data, including volume produced consumption of raw materials, or quality control measures.
• Compile information such as production rates and progress, material inventories, materials used, or customer information so that status reports can be completed.
• Manage daily and monthly inventory levels and Engineering Change Order schedule.
• Monitor MRP process and daily requirement changes.
• Prepare and analyze transportation cost and planning for saving cost on transportation.
• Maintain SAP Material Master Data for accurate purchase orders.
• Other tasks as assigned.
• Monitor orders via EDI for build demand requirements and track materials to ensure full build coverage for production trials.
• Report potential shortage alarms and material availability issues to Upper Management.
• Coordinate build out processes with suppliers to prevent overstock and obsolescence.
• Collaborate with Spec Control team to manage engineering changes and minimize obsolete inventory while ensuring a continued supply.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Required Education & Experience

Experience: 0-3 years

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS)

Degree Field: Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Equivalent Experience/Education : 3+ years of supply chain management or materials management experience within a manufacturing environment
