Job summary

Blue Origin in Washington state is seeking an experienced inbound material receiver to ensure accuracy and traceability from flight hardware to indirect supplies. You will verify shipments, perform lot/serial captures, and apply barcodes while coordinating with IQC, quality, and production to keep builds on schedule.

The role demands 2+ years in receiving within manufacturing or aerospace, familiarity with ERP/WMS, RF scanners, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of receiving/warehouse in manufacturing or aerospace/defense.
• Proficiency with ERP/WMS receiving transactions and RF scanners.
• Ability to read and reconcile POs, packing lists, and supplier certifications.
• Familiarity with part numbers/revisions and basic drawings/specs.
• Experience with ESD and FOD controls; hazmat handling knowledge.
• Forklift operation; current certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify inbound shipments against POs and packing lists.
• Perform quantity, part number, and revision checks; document damages and shortages.
• Execute ERP/WMS transactions; capture lot/serial numbers and storage locations.
• Print/apply barcodes; ensure traceability of materials.
• Route hardware to IQC and stage/quarantine as required.
• Maintain receiving documentation and ensure records retrievable.
• Manage nonconformances; initiate NCRs and MRB actions.
• Comply with ITAR/EAR, hazmat handling, and safety procedures.
• Put-away, transfers, and line-side delivery to support production schedules.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes safely; follow rigging standards.
• Collaborate to resolve receipt issues and expedite critical hardware.
• Support cycle counts and receipt accuracy initiatives.
