Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented quality/material auditor for a 12-month contract in a manufacturing and warehouse setting. The role focuses on verifying materials, quantities, part numbers, labels, and documentation to ensure shipment readiness.

You will perform audits prior to shipment, coordinate with Manufacturing, Shipping, and Procurement, maintain records, and support warehouse activities while adhering to safety procedures. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, material handling, inventory, shipping/receiving, or quality inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and material documentation.
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills.
• SAP or ERP experience required.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays, based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality and material audits prior to shipment.
• Verify materials against orders, BOMs, SAP records, and documentation.
• Check quantities, part numbers, labels, and shipment completeness.
• Identify and communicate material or documentation discrepancies.
• Maintain audit records, tracking spreadsheets, and material status information.
• Work with Manufacturing, Shipping, Procurement, and other teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Support material staging, movement, and warehouse activities as required.
• Follow safety procedures and established work instructions.
• Maintain accuracy and organization while working under shipment deadlines.
