Job Summary

The Material Program Manager (MPM) will be part of the Raytheon Coyote Product Line execution team in Tucson, AZ. This role requires basic knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process, project management, and material management. You will develop your manufacturing, MRP, and business skills within a matrixed organization. Excellent communication skills are essential to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions and with external parties. You will have opportunities to lead projects, manage budgets, and resolve issues.

What You Will Do:

• Engage with IPT leadership on material strategy execution.
• Communicate customer and product requirements to suppliers; conduct supplier engagements regarding capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
• Review SCM metrics.
• Support recurring supplier, program, and IPT reviews, including visibility of procurement plans and escalation of supply chain issues.
• Develop and execute Risk & Opportunity (R&O) and Sales plans to meet the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & program responsibilities; proactively manage mitigation plans.
• Manage budgets for all buy parts and supply chain labor supporting the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process.
• Support prime proposals and program start-up, including developing and executing Material Product Strategies (MPS) and Plans (MPP).
• Ability to obtain MPM certification within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with at least 3 years experience.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields.
• Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance (last full background investigation within 6 years).
• Experience with budget and Earned Value (EV) management, MRP systems (e.g., PRISM, KINAXIS), Risk & Opportunity Management, AOP, and proposals.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Self-starter capable of achieving objectives and interfacing with all levels of management and suppliers.
• Ability to succeed in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
