Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Material Processor Lead for our Lewisville, TX facility to support Supervisors, train the team, and monitor production and quality controls per the area’s work instructions.

You will participate in daily stand-up meetings, help reallocate resources, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely outputs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with Supervisors to train and develop the team.
• Monitor production performance and quality controls per work instructions.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor and participate in meetings with customers/vendors.
• Reallocate resources (people/supplies/products) to meet customer goals.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure workflow and resolve issues.
• Maintain attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation and support 5S audits.

Job description

The Material Processor Lead is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility.

This is an onsite role in our Lewisville, TX facility with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

What will be my duties and responsibilities be in this job?

• Working knowledge of shop floor systems such as Oracle
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor
• Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings
• Work with Supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goals
• Work with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achieved
• Point of contact for employees for handling escalation issues
• Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues
• Ability to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibility
• Track and maintain daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposes
• Participate with the 5S Audit team on monthly 5S audits
• Work with supervisor to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor as a result from the audits
• Forklift certified if needed for area of responsibility
• Perform on-the-job (OJT) refresher training and workstation assessment
• Monitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for specific area of responsibility
• Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and elevate any issues/concerns to supervisor when needed
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
• Must be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leading

• Spreadsheet software- Microsoft Excel- basic understanding and data entry into a preformed spreadsheet
• Word processing- Microsoft Word- basic documents and reports

Pay Range:

$17,34 - $27,75

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
