Assurant seeks a Material Processor Lead for our Lewisville, TX facility. This on-site role supports Supervisors, trains staff, and drives production and quality controls. Typical schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-4:30PM, with responsibilities spanning training, workflow coordination, and cross-department collaboration.

The role requires at least 1 year in light manufacturing, Oracle familiarity, and strong organizational skills. Forklift certification may be required. Attention to detail is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Supervisors to train and develop the team.
• Monitor production performance and quality controls.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper workflow.
• Be point of contact for escalation issues.
• Identify and resolve process issues with Engineering.
• Monitor attendance for Emergency Evacuation purposes.
• Participate in 5S audits and implement changes.
• Operate forklift if needed for area of responsibility.
• Perform on-the-job refresher training and workstation assessment.
• Monitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for area of responsibility.
• Elevate KPI/SLA issues to supervision.

The Material Processor Lead is responsible for working with the Supervisors and assisting in training and developing the team, monitoring production performance, ensuring production and quality controls are met while adhering to the work instructions for the area of responsibility. This is an onsite role in our Lewisville, TX facility with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working knowledge of shop floor systems such as Oracle
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with Supervisor
• Participate in internal and external customer or vendor meetings
• Work with Supervisor to reallocate resources (people/supplies/products etc.) as needed to meet customer goals
• Work with other departments as needed to ensure proper workflow is achieved
• Point of contact for employees for handling escalation issues
• Work with Engineering to identify and resolve process issues
• Ability to collaborate with other departments with their area of responsibility
• Track and maintain daily attendance roster for Emergency Evacuation purposes
• Participate with the 5S Audit team on monthly 5S audits
• Work with supervisor to implement any changes or adjustments on production floor as a result from the audits
• Forklift certified if needed for area of responsibility
• Perform on-the-job (OJT) refresher training and workstation assessment
• Monitor inventory levels (WIP Aging) for specific area of responsibility
• Monitor KPI and SLA performance levels and elevate any issues/concerns to supervisor when needed
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees
• Must be proficient and certified in the area that they are responsible for leading

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of previous light manufacturing experience
• Proficient in manual processing and receiving, consistently meeting UPH expectations

Helpful Skills/Experience

• Prior leadership experience in manufacturing, logistics, operations, or another applicable environment
• Database software- data entry software in existing programs
• Spreadsheet software- Microsoft Excel- basic understanding and data entry into a preformed spreadsheet
• Word processing- Microsoft Word- basic documents and reports

Pay Range

Pay Range: $ 17,34 - $ 27,75

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
