Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Material Process Engineer in Mason, Ohio, on-site. You will support wafer fabrication tools and processes, analyze data, and drive process improvements.

Expect interaction with vendors, operations, and development teams to sustain manufacturing excellence. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years or graduate degree with 2+ years, or 8+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 4+ years of relevant experience; or graduate degree with 2+ years.
• Alternative: 8+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3 years in a Class 100 cleanroom or similar environment.
• Experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes (Thin Film Deposition/Assembly) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and own production semiconductor processes.
• Operate and qualify wafer equipment for III-V manufacturing.
• Monitor SPC/FDC; identify drifts and excursions.
• Perform DOEs and verification for new tools/processes.
• Train technicians and engineers on equipment and procedures.
