Dielectric Manufacturing in Richfield, WI, is seeking a detail‑oriented Material Prep Operator to support production by cutting and preparing raw plastic materials using saws, shears, and punch presses. This role ensures timely and accurate supply of material blanks and components in a high‑mix, low‑volume plastics environment.

The position requires experience with cutting equipment, setup of punch presses, and a commitment to quality and safety on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastics manufacturing or high-mix, low-volume production environment.
• Experience operating saws or punch presses or similar material prep equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate band/ circular/ CNC saws to cut plastic stock to sizes per work orders.
• Set up and operate punch presses for blanking, punching or notching on plastic sheets/parts.
• Inspect raw materials and finished blanks for quality, dimensions and defects.
• Maintain accurate records of material usage, cut lengths and production quantities.
• Measure parts to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Follow safety protocols while operating cutting and punching equipment.
• Assist in material staging, sorting and transporting cut parts to machining/assembly areas.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on saws and punch presses.
• Support changeovers and quick setups for frequent job changes.
