Job summary

Nicolet Plastics LLC in Jackson, WI is seeking a Production Operator to retrieve materials from the warehouse, manage material flow to the presses, and prep resins and colorants while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

You will monitor equipment with IQMS, perform material changeovers, stage supplies for 8–12 hours ahead, and assist with shipping as needed. This non-exempt, full-time role requires independent work and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proven competency as a Production Operator at NPL (Nicolet Plastics).
• Strong desire to collaborate with and be part of the NPL Team.
• Able to competently complete and perform all skills as listed within the Training Checklist and/or Material Handling Career Path Plan.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Basic computer skills and inventory knowledge.
• Self-directed with ability and willingness to work independently and productively.

Responsibilities

• Monitor material handling equipment on the production floor to ensure proper operation and sufficient material.
• Prepare material to support production and manage changeovers.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse, material handling and production areas.
• Assist Production as a Production Operator (PO) as needed.
• Load and unload delivery trucks using forklift and/or pallet jack following safety standards.
