Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Material Planner for Planning and Material Control at the U.S. Cell Manufacturing site in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The role supports production targets, inventory control, and SAP-based planning in a fast-paced multinational setting.

You will collaborate across functions to ensure timely materials, manage MRP data, and contribute to continuous improvements while adhering to ISO 9001 standards. This is a full-time position in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, production or material planning in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering strong quantitative results.
• Able to perform in a fast-moving environment; familiarity with ERP platforms or SAP preferred.
• Excellent communication skills; English fluency required; Mandarin bilingualism desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with headquarters to review and adjust production targets.
• Assess inventory level and delivery timelines to support production.
• Monitor material shortages and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Quality functions.
• Maintain and analyze MRP data; investigate anomalies for accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements in planning operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business goals.
• Utilize SAP for daily planning and operations.
• Support ISO 9001 activities and weekly planning/purchasing calls.
