Job summary

Global Edge Consultants, LLC is seeking a Material Planner to quote, plan and schedule repairs to meet customer specifications and deadlines. You will coordinate with engineering, purchasing, sales and operations to ensure customer expectations are met.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in manufacturing, MRP experience, and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office. This role involves detailed quotations, order checks and cross-department collaboration to optimize material flow.

Qualifications

• Quote and schedule repairs to meet customer specifications.
• Check orders for identity, price, delivery time, shipping and billing.
• Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, sales and operations.
• Experience with MRP and SAP preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years relevant experience in manufacturing settings.
• Ability to own tasks and drive results.

• Support with warehouse activities as needed (incoming goods, inspection, packaging, shipping).
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Material Planner, your primary function involves quoting, planning and scheduling repairs to meet customer specifications and deadlines. You will coordinate across various departments such as engineering, purchasing, sales and operations to ensure all customer expectations are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Provide detailed repair quotations for customer equipment
• Check customer orders, including Identity Number, price, delivery time, shipping and billing address and customer specifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, Teams, and Project)
• Ability to deal with complex contexts, efficiently planning material availability and capacities
• Experience in industrial engineering or similar manufacturing settings
• Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience needed
• SAP knowledge preferred but not required
• Demonstrates ownership
• 3-5 years relevant experience
