Job summary

Sewer Equipment Co. is seeking a Material Planner - Jetter in Dixon, IL to manage part flow into the Jetter and Electrical Departments.

This full-time role focuses on maintaining optimal inventory levels and coordinating with production and purchasing to ensure timely procurement. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Power BI, Smartsheet, or SharePoint experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills when interacting with internal customers
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with Power BI, Smartsheet or SharePoint is helpful

Responsibilities

• Analyze usage to set up ROP/ROQ points and replenishment methods for new parts
• Analyze history and usage to maintain ROP/ROQ points for current parts
• Scan buy cards into the Kanban database for Jetter and Electrical Departments
• Review card scans and approve/reject based on history and need
• Work with production to expedite needed parts
• Communicate needs for parts expediting with purchasing
• Break down work orders and order work order parts
• Maintain work order packets for upcoming/ completed units
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Create unit VIN tags

Salary Range: $40,000.00 To $42,000.00 Annually

TheMaterial Planner-Jetter is responsible for facilitating the flow of parts into the Jetter and Electrical Departments.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Analyze usage to set up ROP/ROQ Points and Replenishment Methods on new parts
• Analyze history and usage to maintain correct ROP/ROQ Points and Replenishment Methods on current parts
• Scan buy cards into the Kanban database for Jetter and Electrical Departments
• Review card scans in database and approve or reject based on history and need
• Work with production floor in expediting needed parts
• Communicate with purchasing the need for parts expediting
• Breakdown of work order and ordering of work order specific parts
• Maintain work order packet for upcoming units for completed units
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Creation of unit VIN tags

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

• Manufacturing Experience Preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs several times a day
