Job summary

Sewer Equipment Co of America in Dixon, IL seeks a Material Planner - Jetter to support the flow of parts into the Jetter and Electrical Departments. This full-time role requires analyzing usage to set up ROP/ROQ points, replenishment methods, and scanning buy cards into the Kanban database to keep parts available for production.

You will collaborate with production, purchasing, and the floor to expedite parts, review scans, maintain work orders, and create VIN tags for units.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Strong communication skills are required to interact with internal customers.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and follow through on order completion.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in Power BI, Smartsheet, Sharepoint helpful.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with purchasing the need for parts expediting.
• Breakdown of work order and ordering of work order specific parts.
• Maintain work order packet for upcoming units for completed units.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Creation of unit VIN tags.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 To $42,000.00 Annually

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
