Job Description

The Material Planner II will report to the Value Stream Manager in a strategic, high-growth, change-oriented, dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Train and mentor team members to ensure a high level of proficiency, performance, and development throughout the department.
• Track material shortages for job orders, kitting, and sub-assemblies based on requirements. Report and communicate material risks and production impacts to key stakeholders.
• Plan and execute production schedules to ensure a controlled flow of conforming material to meet delivery requirements.
• Balance current and future production plans with manufacturing and program needs to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Establish, monitor, and verify Oracle ASCP system parameters, including buffers and inventory levels, while mitigating risk through audits of line-side material.
• Review, action, and resolve material exception messages proactively to prevent production impacts.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of production planning/manufacturing experience or equivalent education with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with ASCP (MRP demand and supply planning).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to serve as a prime contact on projects and develop effective relationships with internal and external customers.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Exposure to Lean Process Improvement.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $58,300 - $99,100
