Job Description

Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Uses Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to develop raw material and scheduling requirements based on engineering specifications and production schedules. Collaborates cross-functionally with internal customers to improve material on-time delivery to the floor, adhering to BAE CMS One Team philosophy. Negotiates lead times with suppliers and manages schedules to ensure on-time delivery.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Support tracking of material shortages and line expedites for job orders, kitting, and sub-assemblies based on requirements and shift hand-offs.
  • Plan and execute production schedules to ensure a steady flow of conforming material for on-time delivery.
  • Establish, monitor, and verify Oracle ASCP system parameters, including buffers and inventory levels, through audits of line-side material.
  • Review, address, and resolve material exception messages and failure points proactively to prevent production impact.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years' relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex problems.
  • Ability to collaborate, explore solutions, negotiate, and integrate different viewpoints.
  • Excellent planning, time management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to represent the materials organization as a primary contact on assigned programs and projects.
  • Exercise discretion and judgment independently while complying with policies and regulations.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for interfacing with peers, stakeholders, and internal customers.
  • Proficiency in computer operations, including charts, graphs, reports, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships and prioritize work schedules.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex numerical and statistical data for forecasting and reporting.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Oracle ASCP experience is a plus.
  • Process improvement exposure.
  • Proven analytical skills with Power BI, Power Pivot, and Excel.
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $47,400 - $80,600

Note: Salaries depend on various factors including skills, education, experience, and market conditions.
