Job summary

Extron in Anaheim, CA, is seeking an experienced Production Planner to monitor supply and demand signals and drive build releases to meet customer needs.

You will partner with Purchasing and Manufacturing Operations to balance demand with capacity and coordinate replenishment to international offices in line with overall strategy.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in production planning, strong MRP/ERP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree/Background in Economics, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment including comprehensive knowledge of Production, Production Control and New Product Introduction.
• Strong understanding, proficiency and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the supply and demand signals and actions for the company.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and MFG Operations to ensure timely, accurate build releases into the pipeline.
• Fulfill customer requirements and replenish to international offices based on the overall company strategy.
