Job summary

Extron in Anaheim, CA, is seeking an experienced Production Planner to monitor supply and demand signals and drive build releases to meet customer needs.

You will partner with Purchasing and Manufacturing Operations to balance demand with capacity and coordinate replenishment to international offices in line with overall strategy.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in production planning, strong MRP/ERP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Degree/Background in Economics, Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment including comprehensive knowledge of Production, Production Control and New Product Introduction.
• Strong understanding, proficiency and experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel - Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills required.

Position Overview:

Responsibilities include constant monitoring of the supply and demand signals and actions for the company. Will work directly with Purchasing and MFG Operations to ensure timely accurate build releases into the pipeline to fulfill customer requirements and replenishment to our international offices based on the overall company strategy.

Minimum Qualifications:

Salary Range: $78,000 to $85,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
