Job summary

JCB North America in Pooler, GA is seeking a dedicated materials planning professional to manage MRP for suppliers and optimize inventory. You will analyze demand, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely stock availability to support operations.

The role requires 2+ years in inventory control or purchasing, with proficiency in MS Office tools and strong analytical skills. This on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within JCB

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory control, material planning, or purchasing experience in a service environment.
• High School Diploma.
• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre-employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Manage MRP for assigned suppliers.
• Maintain open communications and monitor performance of assigned suppliers
• Release purchase orders based on consumption levels and demand to meet lead times and cover future requirements based on historical demand and forecast.
• Generate reports & reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Create & maintain SOP’s & workflow processes for all assigned responsibilities.
• Monitor supplier performance for timely shipping and ability to supply quality parts and accuracy.
• Liaise with other divisions to ensure resolution of any known supplier/material issues
• Other duties as assigned

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Manage MRP for assigned suppliers.
• Maintain open communications and monitor performance of assigned suppliers
• Release purchase orders based on consumption levels and demand to meet lead times and cover future requirements based on historical demand and forecast.
• Manage assigned responsibilities and follow processes
• Generate reports & reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Team Player who can contribute to the overall goals of the team, specifically relating to reaching set targets of parts availability.
• Create & maintain SOP’s & workflow processes for all assigned responsibilities.
• Monitor supplier performance for timely shipping and ability to supply quality parts and accuracy.
• Liaise with other divisions to ensure resolution of any known supplier/material issues
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of inventory control, material planning or purchasing experience in a service environment
• High School Diploma

Job Conditions
