Advantage Technical is hiring a Material Planner in Aiken, SC to support production scheduling, inventory management, and material planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with Oracle MRP/MPS and ERP systems to balance demand with supply and coordinate with purchasing, engineering, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in production scheduling and materials planning, strong Excel/data analysis skills, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, material planning, supply chain, or manufacturing planning.
• Experience with Oracle MRP/MPS, ERP systems, or similar planning software.
• Strong Excel, data analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
• Use Oracle MRP/MPS or similar ERP systems to manage supply and demand planning.
• Monitor inventory, WIP, material availability, and production performance.
• Review and resolve planning exceptions, shortages, reschedules, and past-due orders.
• Coordinate with purchasing, operations, engineering, quality, and customer service teams.
• Analyze capacity constraints and develop recovery plans to support on-time delivery.
• Track KPIs including schedule attainment, inventory levels, and material shortages.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning accuracy and operational efficiency.

We're seeking an experienced Material Planner to support production scheduling, inventory management, and material planning in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with experience in production planning, MRP, ERP systems, supply chain operations, and manufacturing scheduling.

Job Duties

• Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and manufacturing capacity.
