Job summary

TekniPlex is seeking a dedicated team member to keep extrusion lines supplied with the correct materials and to perform duties across the production process. You will follow LOTO rules, ensure accurate mixes, and maintain precise paperwork and labeling for materials.

The role requires reading and following safety instructions, working in a fast-paced environment, and operating material handling equipment as trained. This position offers growth and benefits as part of a global company.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Keep extrusion lines supplied with correct materials.
• Produce accurate mixes for each extrusion line.
• Complete paperwork per ISO, GMP, HACCP requirements.
• Produce labels for material bins, gaylords, and cartons with accurate contents.
• Train to operate Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks.
• Prepare daily mix logs and ensure materials are properly covered.

Summary / Purpose

This position responsible for keeping extrusion lines supplied with the correct materials for each process. Other duties as required and assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Trained as an Authorized Employee in Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) and follow all LOTO rules and regulations.
• Checking all work orders/specification sheets for specific work instructions.
• Producing accurate mixes for each extrusion line.
• Accurately complete all paperwork as required by ISO, GMP, HACCP.
• Producing labels for material bins, gaylords, and cartons, ensuring accuracy of labels and contents.
• Assigning lot numbers according to the ISO procedure.
• Operate all color feeders.
• Ensures all materials are covered/protected.
• Accurately preparing daily mix logs.
• Producing labels for material bins, gaylords, and cartons, ensuring accuracy of labels and contents.
• Must be trained to operate; Powered Industrial Vehicles: Forklifts, Electric Pallet Jacks.
• Ability to operate material grinding systems.
• Ability to add, subtract, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios, and percentages to practical situations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

High school graduate or equivalent GED certification.

Must be self-motivated and have good organizational skills.

Language Skills

Fluent in English, both verbal and written. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders, operating instructions and procedure manuals and manufacturing terminology. Ability to print simple sentences and legibly complete reports. Ability to follow and understand verbal instructions. Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations, to other employees of the organization and respond to questions.
