Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP is hiring a full-time Master Data Processor to create, maintain, and optimize material master data within inventory systems. You will collaborate with Supply Chain partners on new records, changes, and data quality initiatives.

The role emphasizes stewardship of material master records, data accuracy, and continuous improvement across global refinery assets. Location is Findlay, Ohio, with additional refinery locations listed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• 1-3+ years of data entry or data evaluation experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP or similar ERP experience preferred.
• Grade N3-N4; posted level depends on experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and process new material requests for warehouse inventory into material master records.
• Review and process changes to existing material master data records.
• Prevent duplicate records and standardize descriptions and classifications.
• Request additional information from stakeholders to ensure data accuracy.
• Support data quality improvements and material master process optimization.
• Provide support to stakeholders on material master data and related processes.
• Analyze data to support metrics, identify duplicates, and respond to ad-hoc requests.
