Job summary

Invenergy in Chicago, IL seeks a Manager, Material Management to lead strategic supply chain initiatives across renewable projects. You will align owner-furnished equipment requirements, manage receiving and reporting at active sites, and coordinate with Global Sourcing, Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Logistics, and Suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years total professional experience.
• 2+ years in supply chain, operations, and/or procurement.
• 1+ year of people management experience.
• Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship.
• Willing to travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• People Management: Manage, develop and coach team of direct reports on projects and assess performance.
• Program Management: Oversee creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of Global Sourcing Execution initiatives.
• Equipment Receiving: Own the company’s equipment receiving program across the renewable project portfolio.
• Construction Management Support: Partner with Construction PM on OFE matters, escalate equipment concerns, and capture lessons learned.
• Supply Contract Management: Improve SOPs for OFE supply contracts with Procurement and Legal teams.
