Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Material Coordinator for the Offsite Maintenance and Modernization Office in Philadelphia, PA. The role focuses on material control and support for NEWCON work assigned to SteelFab partnerships.

The ideal candidate will manage material segregation, shipping documentation, and liaison with EB sites and government personnel, with opportunities to contribute to safety and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of warehousing and/or material handling experience.
• Business and EWA travel to other shipyards/strategic partner locations is required.
• Must work other than normal duty hours, including shift work, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, locate, and retrieve materials.
• May be required to travel to EB sites or Shipyards and work various shifts.
• Communicate with customers and EB management at all levels.
• Contribute to safety, quality, cost, schedule, and continuous improvement.
