Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Seekonk, MA is seeking a Material Coordinator for the Offsite M&M Office to support NEWCON and material control across EB sites. You will receive, identify, locate, and retrieve materials while coordinating with multiple sites and government personnel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of warehousing and/or material handling experience.
• Business and EWA travel to other shipyards/locations required.
• Must work non-standard hours, evenings, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, locate, and retrieve materials.
• Communicate effectively with EB management and government personnel.
• Prepare shipping documents and coordinate material readiness for ship dates.
• Support site improvement goals for Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule.
