Job summary

Goldbelt Integrated Logistics Services (GbILS) provides logistics support for NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center at Edwards AFB, CA. The Material Coordinator role covers supply, equipment, and property management, plus mail and transportation duties to ensure secure, compliant handling of assets.

Responsibilities include tracking equipment, processing transfers, and maintaining records per NASA guidelines; prior warehouse experience and ability to obtain SECRET clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely lift to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and via email.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position including being on your feet most of the day and lifting requirements.
• Ability to be trained in the use of warehouse tools and manual material handling equipment.
• Must pass NASA forklift training and certification.

Responsibilities

• Support contract Logistics Services including supply, equipment, property disposal, transportation, and mail management.
• Maintain accountability of NASA equipment and property in systems of record.
• Assist in processing item turn-ins and shipments; help with office moves and furniture movements.
• Operate material handling equipment or non-CDL trucks when required and ensure proper documentation.
