Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company, Inc. seeks a detail‑oriented Mechanic I to pull, stage and load materials for intercompany shipments.

You will partner with Production Control, Purchasing, Inventory and Traffic to ensure timely, accurate deliveries and support sustainability and safety initiatives. Great candidates will be energetic, organized, and able to mentor junior mechanics while adapting to multiple shifts and plants.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control from receipt to shipment and customer delivery.
• Basic SAP knowledge for locations, fulfilment, receiving and paperwork.
• Forklift operation experience and safe handling procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Owns safety and follows all rules; operates equipment to maximize productivity and quality.
• Train junior mechanics and guide performance; understand production demands in SAP.
• Kit and stage orders for shipment; load orders using intercompany ramps; verify SAP orders.
• Maintain Shipping-A locations; keep areas neat; update standard work and metrics.
• Cross-train with Inventory team; participate in continuous improvement.
