Job summary

Emerald Technologies in San Jose, CA is seeking a Material Kitting Associate to stock materials, kit parts for assembly, and move kits through the facility. You will record stock and ensure accurate material flow on the shop floor.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), up to 1 year of related experience, US citizenship or lawful permanent residency, and adherence to ISO, safety, and internal policies. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• If the candidate does not have a high school diploma, a minimum of 1 year of relevant manufacturing or material handling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident as defined by ITAR (22 CFR § 120.15)

Responsibilities

• Kitting & Assembly: Assemble kits and manuals accurately by following written schedules and part-picking orders.
• Inventory Control: Perform physical cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy, investigate error causes, and reconcile discrepancies.
• System Transactions: Perform data entry into the business system. Execute normal transfer transactions and corrections, understanding the implications of each.
• Material Tracking: Use scanning equipment and basic computer systems to track inventory flow efficiently throughout the facility.
• Process Improvement: Maintain a strong, continuous presence on the production floor to help drive process improvements.
• Compliance: Strictly adhere to all ISO, Safety, ESD, and internal company policies and procedures
