Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Material Handling Maintenance Technician to support production and distribution, documenting materials, and preparing finished goods for shipment.

The role covers inbound/outbound movement and storage of raw materials, finished products, and parts. You will use automation systems to manage inventory, coordinate with suppliers, forecast material purchases, and ensure OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of related experience.
  • Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
  • Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content concisely.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Use automation systems to manage inventory.
  • Forecast and source raw material purchases based on production plan and schedule.
  • Review and place purchasing requisitions based on business needs; generate accurate invoices.
  • Advise equipment control manager of changes to improve functioning and reduce costs.
  • Verify traveler and bill of materials; assist in material discrepancy activities.
  • Examine, stock, and distribute materials to inventory and manufacturing lines.
  • Develop efficient methods to measure pallet weight entering and leaving the facility.
  • Gather and analyze data to identify and solve complex problems with little precedent.
