The Supervisor/Team Lead for Material Handling is responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and control of materials within a facility. This role ensures that raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods are handled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and material handling operations — including receiving, storing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards — such as forklift operation, OSHA regulations, and proper handling of hazardous materials
• Manage material flow — coordinating the movement of goods to support production schedules and customer delivery performance
• Train and lead team members — mentoring staff, ensuring adherence to safety and operational procedures
• Monitor inventory accuracy — conducting cycle counts and maintaining accurate records
• Support supply chain activities — including procurement planning, kitting, and ensuring material availability
