Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, LLC is seeking a Raw Material Utility for our Kings Mountain, NC facility. The role involves material handling, operating palletizing equipment, and supporting packaging to keep production running smoothly.

The position runs Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with Saturdays as needed. Candidates should have basic data entry skills, forklift experience (certification on day one), and the ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of food safety rules, policies and procedures.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer and data entry skills for tracking and monitoring equipment performance.
• Forklift experience and ability to obtain certification on day one.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a zero-accident culture on the production floor.
• Operate and adjust robotic palletizers and production equipment, ensuring proper programming for new products and specifications.
• Accurately track and enter pallet data into data collection systems and complete inventory control logs.
• Review production schedules, move pallets from production area to the warehouse, and ensure materials are staged for the next shift.
• Ensure labeling and barcoding are correct and address packaging quality issues with attention to detail.
• Ensure equipment and work areas are cleaned and well-maintained.
